Come to My Book Signing on Sunday Now
I can’t embarrass myself in front of another indie bookstore’s staff
This newsletter is just a quick announcement of two very important things. The first is that I recently recorded my first podcast interview with an actual human, and I couldn’t have chosen a better host than
who is the author of the cookbook/memoir, Salt & Sour: My Recipe for Starting Over and also writes The Monday Club newsletter. Typically, on The Angsty Pod, Yoda reads from one of the journals she’s been keeping since she was ten years old. I’m in awe of the baby Yoda whose entries are weaved with naivety and an astounding insight for someone so young. In our conversation Yoda was gracious enough to allow me to share from the journal I kept during my first year of high school, the one where I talk about doing crank for the first time and complain that no vampires are around to turn me into one of them. Normal 90s kid stuff. Have a listen to the episode on Apple Spotify or Amazon music.Secondly, I will be doing an author event on October 20th. That’s this Sunday at Three Birds Cafe & Books in Ojai, California. I’m either about to become a lot more visible or no one is going to come except my mom. All will be revealed. If you are local to the Ventura area and have purchased a book, you can come have it signed. If you haven’t purchased a book and want to while also making me look cool in front of the people who work at the bookstore, please don’t hesitate to get in your car immediately and line up outside the Three Birds Cafe all weekend for a chance to meet me, the big time small town author of the book that at least one person has already thrown in the trash in a fit of rage.
My mom and I will be there!
I’ll be there in spirit! Also, I did a book signing in Boston and 4 people came. You’re officially an author, bb!
