Have you ever stumbled upon the obvious? Well, I've run after a notepad as if it were the last cookie in the package! 🏃💨 Sometimes, life puts us in these crazy races, but look: if you feel a little clumsy or lost today, remember that everyone has had a slip of the logic ladder from time to time. What matters is laughing at your own story — and knowing that, together, we are a group that is much more fun than any solitary stumble. So, let's share the falls and get up smiling? The microphone (and the virtual hug) are here for you!"
"And you, have you ever 'chased' something unusual out there?
Thank you, Julie, for bringing your home town with all its quirks to my feed. Because I miss the place. I relate to your mishap, having fallen flat on my face tripped by a similar bulk right outside of Westridge. Not proud of that moment, and my skinned knees showed it for weeks as I was parading through town in shorts even though it was December and everyone else was in a puffer jacket.
And because I have some knowledge of town I also know that every unexpected noise that permeates the loud booming silence makes everyone stop in their tracks and take it as a personal attack.
Oh jeez, if this had happened in Ojai, it would have been way worse. It was actually at the Vons in Ventura. Okay and now your story seals it. They just need to replace all the parking blocks with trees!
My car is fine. I had to drive a safe distance where no one from the parking lot would be to examine it.
Hahahahahaha!! Listen driving is hard when stationary objects suddenly appear. As someone who has run over paint cans in the driveway and side swiped a concrete wall in a parking garage 2x in the same week, I feel you sister!!
You are absolutely the sane one, everyone else is crazy, this is the best thing I’ve read all morning and maybe all week, Julie! xoxoxoxoxo
Oh thank you Dana, that is exactly what I needed to hear right now.

Hope your car is ok.

More trees would be nice!
I have blocked all those moments in my life.
Also this title is so great!
