Julie! What a fun conversation. You are such a warm host. I love where our time and the talk took us.

We truly are the luckiest. Lucky to know you! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ’›

Great convo! I loved hearing from you both! Allison, I'm also trying to read more fiction after spending years with nonfiction ~ I'd recommend The Maid series if you like a little whodun'it and I really loved Mad Honey, Long Bright River, The Midnight Library, and anything Jodi Picoult. Also the Dead Romantics was fun!

I almost bought The Midnight Library on my last bookstore trip, but I liked the cover of another book better. Now, I canโ€™t keep going in this book with the lovely cover. So many regrets.

I have been listening to this podcast over the last few days-on a walk, around the house. It felt like a mix of listening to a meeting and also as though I were hanging out with two of my sober besties. Related to so much each of you shared-from always identifying as a writer but being afraid, to wanting to read more fiction and everything in between, especially Momming while drinking and then sober. Yup. Done both. Great job ladies, you both sounded relaxed yet professional.
