Yay! I was hoping you’d write a post about this so more people would see it and know how to support you. I love imagining your Grandma listening to your substack audios AND holding your book in her hands. Of course, I look forward to having it in my hands too!
Oh, I wish I lived in CA so I could start a book club with you and your grandma. Tell her I am also swimming in between 7 books at the moment, too! I can't help myself.
Julie - I love the way you describe what books mean to you (wondering "how the author knew me before I was born"). The way it can land inside your DNA like it was always part of you. I get that from reading certain books, too. Your book will be like that for people, too. Keep going.
I just saw your post saying you’d made it to your goal (thanks to following Daisy Buchanan) but still wanted to support because this is awesome! Congratulations! I’m excited to read it 🥰
A book can read you by the light of the world as it burns.
A hell of a line!!! Unbearable Lightness was my fave book growing up. Can't wait to read your book!

Your grandma! And this family of readers. What fun! Thanks for this.

I can't wait to read your book! I'll put it on the shelf right between Bradshaw and Kundera, where only you and me know it truly belongs. 🤩💕
😊The most normal juxtaposition I can think of.
